Until the last

Uncertainty wraps itself around me in unfamiliar forms
To love another as oneself? Or to embrace
solitude?
I did linger in doubt, nay, fear, of
what may come.
Yet circumstances under my control, I
realize, compels me to embrace it.
A change in thought gives me the
power to see and to render worry weak.
For what is worry but a fear: today, a
fear to love?
To thrust my being into you lifts me.
I give me to you
completely with confidence
In love’s ability and our ability
To tap the Infinite

I may not know of when and where
Our hearts will take our bodies,
But the soul, my spirit, remains with yours,
Neverending.
Together we are mighty. And our individual
Will strengthen our conjoined minds.

As my mind learns yours and our bodies
Begin to dance in time,
The flame that is our love shall become
A fiery passion that consumes
Boarders and boundaries.

Now is our moment and
let us love as though it is the last
And let us embrace our ever-changing selves.
This moment I love you as the one.

Let us relish our new journey together
Until the last.
